METAL DETECTABLE PLASTIC MATERIALS FOR FOOD APPLICATIONS
 A range of metal detectable Ensinger plastics are now available, specifically designed for use in the food industry. These detectable plastics are produced with the addition of a detectable additive; thanks to this additive, in the event that a plastic component should break during production, each fragment can be quickly identified using a standard metal detector placed at the end of the production line. Furthermore, the blue color of the material has been designed to facilitate optical detection by the operator or the camera, whatever the type of food contaminated by the fragment. These materials are available in rounds and sheets in a wide range of formats and in numerous variants to meet different application needs:

Also available in UD (ultra-detectable) versions detectable with metal detectors and x-rays.
