Characteristics: very low friction coefficient, excellent chemical resistance to almost all aggressive agents, with the exception of strong oxidants, excellent resistance to both low and high temperatures, up to 260° C, excellent resistance to atmospheric agents, good thermal conductivity.
Common applications: Bearings for applications in high speed conditions and where dissipation of electrostatic charges is required.
Piston rings for compressors operating without lubrication.
